Wrote this, working on another version with a band, this is my version.

Existential torment not so subtly disguised by ocean metaphors.

Another attempt at capturing the objectivity that one might delude themselves into experiencing and mastering until the feeling wears off and only fragments can remain.

There's no sleep on the horizon
No direction I can sail
Through a storm of navigation

I'm captain of this vessel

It sails this empty ocean

Occupied by hazards
It's danger in the sea
It's what I find in my hazard mind that makes it a part of me
