I was born too late for the troubles But the hatred and separation seems to have doubled Old men telling kids to keep fighting because their hateful traditions are slowly dying The mentally vacant continue what no longer relevant What if everyone just no longer believed in it Can there be an end to the IRA, politics and The UDA? Can we realize there's no such thing as enemies? In the middle of sea of hell noes Ignorance and anything goes Cap my knees or nail me to a wall In the middle of a place full of people we're hateful and unequal and democracy has been kicked in the balls I know I've grown up and I've been safe but that will never stop me pointing out the tragedies Maybe we should break this link to the past? We're not soldiers, we're humans hoping long might our lives last In the middle of sea of hell noes Ignorance and anything goes Cap my knees or nail me to a wall In the middle of a place full of people we're hateful and unequal and democracy has been kicked in the balls There's a hole in the world that's a great black pit some of the people living there are full of shit The morals reflect the hatred they spit and it goes by the name of Belfast. In the middle of sea of hell noes Ignorance and anything goes Cap my knees or nail me to a wall In the middle of a place full of people we're hateful and unequal and democracy has been kicked in the balls

I go to the land of the dead where the only sunshine is the thought that's in your head I go to the village of the free where the only expense is you of your grip on reality and I laugh as the numb wipes the pride and then I have to rebuild from what's left inside I see there's not much left here for me but it gives me an excuse to make a brand new philosophy Now I'm thinking, I'm not sinking, I'm ready to rise up I've not given this enough Now I'm preying, I'm not saying: I believe in God Because I've questioned that a lot I go to the land without creed where the only requirement is to have human need I flow along the river of the free where you can make your own doubts and they shape your reality I know there's nothing left here for me as the entity has taken all individuality And I rock back and forth in my padded room where they put me by force Now I'm thinking they are sinking, clinging to a dying world that ain't for every boy and girl Now I'm saying we're delaying, just like the passing of time I think there are people that will get left behind Ready to explode, rebuild so simple, the accent is evil the system is the devil You might listen to me once, you'll not listen again , unlike shit on the radio 'cause my shit's not pretend You'll not recognize my voice because it's not under control. silence ain't a choice in a damaged world you know Read the metaphors you'll see: the other side of me I don't care about you. And I don't care about me.

The ghetto boosters, the cocaine roosters spending their money on a satellite The corporate clowns, with stone age brows putting in the effort to install a Fourth Reich It's the wrong clan, throwing napalm, now the laws will enable the same man Patriots insisting, Geniuses resisting, no longer live where thy parents stand Now everyone just wants to be alone, expecting to come across their throne There's a vacancy up inside the brain, switch on the television, you're just linking up that chain Behind closed doors Maybe we can do this correctly because plastic is no longer acceptable Maybe: This is a suggestion, That maybe oil is not respectable "On the news he gets wacky:Blame it all on "pakis" They control you through your fear of them" It's the suits you should fear, there's a lot more going on here Behind closed doors there's a lot of paying off being done "Just grab your take away, don't you worry about this today, your government has everything under control" They drop death from the sky, it's not their sons that die. They'll fill you up with bullshit, false, nation pride Now everyone just wants to be alone, expecting to come across their throne There's a vacancy up inside the brain, switch on the television, you're just linking up that chain Yeah it's in the news, it's in the papers. They're spreading the message of the slavers Yeah it's the hate and it's the greed. You don't have a choice but yet you think you're free.

Astounding 04:03
When the moon hits the sun in the spring And when God leaves his child out in the rain Up above or down below, it doesn't bring For when the candle is done, it's not the same It's not the same If the trees, they could their secret dream If the animals hailed a different scream The white and the grey would mix a scene And the whole union would simply be astounding If our home was destroyed by ourselves Well at least we could live with our wealth All we wanted was complete control Using emptiness to fill the hole and we were Astounding

Interlude 04:33
We tagged along with friends We didn't know it would lead to our end Then there were times when we fought and we cried Watching the tears drip from your eyes We thought that we could be invincible Yet we were young and impressionable Now that your old, wear a tie and belt It seems you've escaped the way that we felt So now you hang your head in shame You look at me as the one you blame But I'm not desensitized I'm not the one that lied And not the one who forgets where he's from I'm not the one that afraid of the light of the sun I don't seek a crown, no glory or drown It's legal that's willing, but it's me that your killing What did we do? Up with no affection? We turn away and search a new direction Those horrible times where you shined through Who would have thought it was me that lost you? So now you hang your head in shame You look at me as the one you blame But I'm not desensitized I'm not the one that lied And not the one who forgets where he's from I'm not the one that afraid of the light of the sun I don't seek a crown, no glory or drown It's legal that's willing, but it's me that your killing

The Fair 03:33
Let's take a trip to the fair Let's see the freak show there The long lines don't care They get to sit and stare And all the passers by The weird shall catch their eye To watch a grown man cry Because he wants to die He doesn't want to sing He just wants to be thin In the social eye Oh god does he try Got an electric judge Opinions turn to mud It's got him running scared People pretend to care Let's take a trip to the fair Let's make enemies there They just don't agree They don't expect you to be free And even if you try They'll try to make you cry You know these people can change Once they feel your rage And then you want to sing You'll start to let them in Then all the passers by You'll start to catch their eye Now they're the freaky ones Because you're more than them And if you stick to your guns You'll never let them win Once you're sound of mind Regretting wasted time You spend every day Wishing for another way Let's take a trip to the fair

Revelation 04:02
There's always a shadow over your grave Is to be sane is to behave? You've been in this place for too long You think you can't do wrong You're a candle burning too high You've got to destroy before you die You're not barking orders You're chewing over the problems that come with your life Any chance you'll hear me was taken in a bombing slide When's there's no longer a witness for this tragedy There'll be no more fools to call it blasphemy Won't be in the paper won't even be funny There'll be no one around to give worth to money When our atoms go back to the sky I think that's when we'll truly be alive You're not barking orders You're chewing over the problems that come with your life Any chance you'll hear me was taken in a bombing slide Your pigmentation and your skin colour don't define. Don't define You are evolution testing how to survive and all you want to do is make up a God To get through a day being under control

One day the children won't be the same pushing one generation to their graves implicating waste of space losing our minds and identity Language evolves over time and monkeys and ladder unwitting crime though ancient, we should look at now forsaken, we can't see our power It's taken so many years Created so many fears These fears are nothing These fears are nothing The politician doesn't care about you He knows oxford walls, nothing will be new Kings of thrones, the thrones are different now They say it's change but they don't know how That's no what you learn Conspiracy is what you heard Problems are what they herd You know the world will turn? It's taken so many years Created so many fears These fears are nothing These fears are nothing These fears are nothing These fears are nothing You know, you know, you know the world will turn? You know, you know, you know it's cities will burn From rock and roll to a rocking chair One day you lose all your hair Y 'know? Y 'know? Y 'know? Y 'know? Y 'know? Y 'know that.. These fears are nothing These fears are nothing These fears are nothing These fears are nothing

On this day 30 years ago A man fell down with a broken soul He cast his wish into the wind When he turned round it came back again His own two brothers look past his eyes 30 years, they haven't realized That he has grown into a better man And still they profit wherever they can They are still lying to themselves Luxury home yet ignorance dwells Family may be written in blood But the future ain't written in the mud On this day 20 years ago A man came down from the capital He was searching for workers with skill Ones he couldn't care if he killed He sent them abroad to secure some oil He shrinks rich off others peoples toil Destabilized, a war they'll never lose Nation pride is the mans excuse They are still lying to themselves Luxury home yet ignorance dwells Family may be written in blood But the future ain't written in the mud We watch as they fall for nothing We burn as we crawl for wanting Waste away for superficial nothing We watch as they fall for nothing at all

about

I've been making lots of different music over the past few years, I've dabbled in a lot of genres, used many different techniques for creating music and had a fantastic time doing it all.

This album has a lot of different genres to it. I think it's how I have grown as a person as well as a musician. I used to be a very closed minded person, but music opened my mind up and made me realize a lot of things about who I was and who I wanted to be and then finally to accept that I'm just an insignificant creature that through the use of it's experiences is able to write and record music.

This album is me growing up and it seems the only thing I can do is share that experience in some way. It may not be industry standard but who gives a shit? I like it, maybe someone else will?

I have recorded all of these songs mostly by myself (excluding "The Fair" and "We watch as they fall for nothing", in which my good friend and band mate James Orr provides bass on), either in my bedroom or at KingPin Studios (Which I'm hoping to run as a proper recording studio soon).

I'd like to leave a word of thanks here as well to several people
My Grandfather Samuel Eric Richmond (RIP)
Joe Strummer (RIP) and the Clash
Billie Joe Armstrong and Green Day
Chester Bennington and Linkin Park
and all those who have influenced me and inspired me and continue to do so along my journey. Stay fantastic.

I've found a purpose for myself through this.
